Hardware Product Manager AI - (VR/AR)

We have teams in Northern America, Europe, Japan and South Korea. We are looking for a skilled and creative hardware product manager to join us to build our VR/AR new product. 1. Oversee and drive the entire product lifecycle process, including market analysis, product definition, design, development, packaging, manufacturing, launch, and post-sales support. 2.Work closely with AI/ML teams to translate large-scale models (e.g., Language Models, foundation models) into focused, real-world applications by identifying use cases, validating feasibility, and shaping them into user-facing features. 3. Plan features based on product concepts, analyze user behavior, draft product specifications, facilitate initial requirement communications, conduct technical research, and track and study related product concept requirements. 4. Monitor project progress, ensuring product stages align with requirements, and collaborate with the project manager to create quality and risk management plans, highlighting key development paths and decision points throughout the product lifecycle. 5. Manage, implement, and validate product requirements, as well as control and make decisions on any changes to product requirements. 6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities; proactively gather insights into user needs, propose improvements, manage issues arising at different product stages, analyze user data, and continuously enhance the product experience. 7. Facilitate communication and coordination with departments such as Sales, Marketing, and R&D, while also providing support related to product marketing and sales

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Product Design, or a related field;

- 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the consumer electronics or wearable technology industry.

- Strong understanding of AI models and applications, including computer vision, recommendation systems, and deploying deep learning models.

- Proven ability to translate large-scale AI models (e.g., foundation models, LLMs) into user-focused product features.

- Demonstrated success launching AI-powered products in collaboration with software, hardware, and AI teams.

- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills with experience in trade-off analysis.

- Data-driven approach with hands-on experience in market analysis, competitive research, and product strategy.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.

- Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.

- Experience with project management tools and methodologies.

- Passion for smart wearables and emerging technologies, with a strong drive to create innovative products that delight users.

- Experience working with international teams and suppliers.

- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements for wearable devices.

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually)The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $250000 - $510000 annually.​Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.​Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others.
